Palestinian-American Adolescent Liberated Following Nine Months in Israel's Detention

An Palestinian-American youth after completing a nine-month period in imprisonment by Israel without charge was released.
Mohammed Ibrahim was fifteen years old during his detention this past winter within the occupied West Bank, while he was vacationing while residing in Florida under suspicion of rock throwing toward Israeli settlers, allegations he repeatedly contested.
United States authorities expressed satisfaction with Mohammed's liberation.
Now sixteen years old, needed medical care upon gaining freedom, family members reported.
They said he is pale, underweight, and is suffering from conditions developed during imprisonment.
In a statement, family spokesperson conveyed their "tremendous relief".
The uncle, Zeyad Kadur said the family had been "living a horrific and endless nightmare" over the last nine months.
"At this moment, we're concentrating on getting Mohammed the immediate medical attention necessary for his recovery following exposure to Israel's abuse and brutal treatment throughout his detention."
The state department announced ongoing to extend consular services for the Ibrahim family.
{"The Trump Administration has no higher priority to ensuring the safety of US citizens"," officials stated.
A group of American legislators endorsed a document to the state department and the White House, requesting additional efforts to secure his release.
The father, a father-of-four managing a frozen treats business based in Tampa, previously said his child admitted guilt to throwing stones due to physical abuse.
There were no visits nor direct contact since February, receiving updates exclusively about his son's condition in detention through court documents.
Mohammed was held absent formal charges in Ofer prison throughout the occupied territory.
